Terms of Sale & Service

These terms are provided in English. Translations may be offered for convenience, but the English version shall prevail in case of any discrepancy.

These Terms of Sale & Service ("Terms") govern your purchase of AutoclaveXpress hardware and your use of the AutoclaveConnectPro cloud service (together, the "Offering") provided by SCMDSD LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By placing an order or using the service, you ("Customer", "you") agree to these Terms.

1. The Offering

The AutoclaveXpress Trilogy is a hardware kit (a PT100 temperature probe, an RS485 converter and an Ethernet gateway) that connects a sterilizer to the AutoclaveConnectPro cloud platform for cycle logging, traceability, remote oversight and optional AI analysis. The Offering works with autoclaves and steam sterilizers that expose temperature and pressure outputs.

2. Orders, Pricing and Payment

Prices, shipping fees and subscription rates are those displayed at checkout, in US Dollars (USD), and may change over time.
Hardware is sold as a one-time purchase; the AutoclaveConnectPro service and optional AI analysis are sold as recurring subscriptions.
Payments are processed by third-party providers (Stripe, PayPal and Wise). We do not store full payment-card details.
Your order is accepted once payment is confirmed and you receive an order confirmation.

3. Shipping and Delivery

Hardware is shipped to the address you provide. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier. You are responsible for any import duties or taxes applicable in your country.

4. Subscriptions, Billing and Cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically for successive billing periods until cancelled.
You may cancel a subscription at any time by giving 30 days' notice to contact@iot.autoclavexpress.com. Service continues, and fees remain payable, through the end of the notice period.
Fees already paid are non-refundable except as stated in our Refund & Returns Policy.

5. Important Notice — Responsibility for Sterilization

The Offering provides monitoring, logging and traceability tools only. It is not a medical device, a sterilization validator, or a substitute for your own sterilization validation, biological or chemical indicators, routine testing, maintenance, or regulatory obligations. You remain solely responsible for validating the efficacy of your sterilization processes and for complying with all applicable health, medical-device and safety regulations in your jurisdiction. Data and analytics provided by the Offering are informational and must not be relied upon as the sole basis for releasing sterilized loads.

6. Acceptable Use of the Service

You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, reverse-engineer it, resell it without authorization, or use it unlawfully. We may suspend access for breach of these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

All software, content and trademarks relating to AutoclaveXpress and AutoclaveConnectPro remain our property or that of our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your internal business purposes.

8. Hardware Warranty

We warrant that hardware will be free from material defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months from delivery under normal use. Our sole obligation is, at our option, to repair or replace defective hardware. This warranty does not cover misuse, accident, unauthorized modification, or normal wear.

9. Service Availability and Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Offering shall not exceed the amounts you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or business, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Offering in breach of these Terms or applicable law.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive will survive.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located in Wyoming shall have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your order or use applies. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
